Well we did it! We will be in the main gallery at City of the World for the month of I pulled Ted kicking and screaming (OK, a little reluctantly) into a show.
We're having our open house/reception on Friday, September 16th from 6 to 10pm. We'll be having pupu's and light drinks, a little wine, a little soda, a little water. Please come and join us if you're in the area. If not please fly in and join us. Hey it's worth a try.
I had to write a little bio, not easy to refer to yourself in the third person. I felt quite royal.

The bio is pasted below for all to read. It is a thing of beauty?
Ted and Anna Norris pulled up Hawaiian roots and moved to the desert in early 2010. Surprised by the beauty and diversity of the outlying Las Vegas area they decided to experience as much of it as they could and began exploring. Hiking and driving in the desert and mountains of Nevada and Utah inspires them to capture new colors, shapes and experiences in their respective disciplines. Ted through new clays and glazes, Anna through new color palettes and subjects.
Ted was 15 years old when he threw his first piece and he’s been fascinated with the process ever since. Introduced to the work of master potters when living in Japan as a child, Ted was taken by the simplicity and beauty of the medium. Over the years he’s continued to challenge himself to simplify, and refine his work. Raku, pit and kiln firing, slab, coil and thrown, he works with clay for the tactile pleasure of it. The move to Las Vegas allows him to experience new clay bodies and glazes.
Anna has always been interested in art and the artistic process. Starting with an addiction to pen and ink drawing she expanded into paints during college. Though initially hooked on acrylics she has recently added water-merscible oils and this has opened her work up to new directions. Another change in direction is the shift in color from the Hawaiian greens and blues to the red rocks, purple mountains and multiple colors of the desert plants.
Please consider stopping by in the month of September. We'd love to see you. And remember, the gallery is open each Friday, not only First Fridays, until 10pm. Have YOU had your culture fix?
